Have intercourse, get pregnant, right? This is the way most of the couples think when they plan to start their family. Unfortunately the reality is just opposite of it. Today out of every six couple, one is facing difficulty in conceiving even after a year of unprotected intercourse or facing the trauma of infertility. If you are one of them, start immediately to up your odds of getting pregnant quicker and having a healthy pregnancy. In this article we are going to share some simple ways that helps you in boost your fertility, take a close look on them:

  • Choose healthy diet which includes organic fruits and veggie. These are free from synthetic, chemical pesticides that are routinely sprayed on other produced crops or vegetables. According to the research these pesticides can decrease the fertility by disrupting the balance of reproductive hormones. So it’s good to choose organic fruits and vegetables and wash them properly before eating to remove as much of the chemical as possible.
  • According to some experts balanced diet is not enough and so you will need some supplements to complete the requirement of the body. Some supplements recommended by the experts for women are 1000 mg Vitamin C in a day, multivitamin especially designed for pregnancy, 1000 mg of linseed or flax oil, and 30 mg of zinc a day and etc.
  • Reduce your stress by yoga or other relaxation exercises. Stress can seriously mess with your reproductive hormones and can decrease your fertile ability. While doing yoga focus on slow, deep breaths and do postures that release tension and improve blood flow because experts says, when we normalize the stress response, we also help normalize the levels of reproductive hormones.
  • Watch your weight can help to boost your fertility because excess body weight can lead to an overproduction of certain hormones that may disrupt ovulation. Often you may ovulate less and lower your chances of getting pregnant. While on the other side, too little body fat means your body is not producing enough hormones to ovulate each month. Talk to your doctor about weight measures and workout routine before getting pregnant.
  • It’s time to kick your habit of smoking and drinking. Cigarette toxins not only damage woman’s eggs but also take ovaries to age, simply means the ovaries of 35 years old smoker functioning like 42 years old i.e. less fertile.
  • Be patient while trying to conceive. Normally it takes three months for an egg to travel from a group of follicles to be selected as an egg needs to release in a cycle. Similarly it takes three months for a man to generate a new batch of sperm. Have patient and expect to wait for four months before your dietary and lifestyle changes have an effect.
  • Best timing is vital factor. Focus on dietary and lifestyle changes works with better sex or intercourse. Intercourse is best undertaken once every 48 hours around ovulation, so as to maintain the high quality of sperm.

Follow above ways and don’t forget to schedule a visit to your doctor because pre conception check up is one of the best things you can do to assess your current fertility and also help in addressing any health issue (if any) before trying to conceive.
