They would also need to stay well hydrated and keep their skin moisturized from within. This way, the risk of developing stretch marks is at a minimum. Drinking eight or more glasses of water or other fluids is another good practice that keeps the skin hydrated and maintains elasticity. Some young mothers, who are eager to look their best, also use natural products such as cocoa butter, vitamin E and olive oil on areas such as abdomen, thighs and upper arms, where stretch marks are most likely to appear.
