The problem of missing money has topped most state government’s priority charts. Millions of unclaimed money is lying idly on the government’s account, a share of which may belong to many Americans. There are chances that this missing money may be derived from dormant account or from a lineage relative.

Check Government's Savings Bond Database
As per the U.S. Treasury, around $17 billion currently exists in Series E Savings Bonds and are yet to claimed by their owners.
