One of the most common problems that women are facing is breast cancer. It is also a rare problem in men. According to the latest statistic, the number of new cases of breast cancer in female was 226,870 and that of male was 2,190 in the year 2012 and the number of deaths has reached to 39,510 in female and 410 in male. It is important for you to be aware about the preventive measures to cure breast cancer. Some of the important points are given below.
Steps to Prevent Breast Cancer
1.Avoid Consumption of Alcohol: It is recommended to stop drinking alcohol. If you are addicted, then it is recommended to join a rehabilitation center.
2.Exercise Daily: Exercise is one of the best therapy that needs to be performed daily. It is suggested to walk at least 30 minutes daily. You can also join a gym and perform acrobatic activities, cardio exercises, swimming, and other exercises.
3.Maintain Your Weight: It is important that you maintain your weight, as it can be the main reason for breast cancer.
4.Consume Green Vegetables and Fruits: It is recommended to eat green vegetables like carrot, sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, leafy green vegetables, etc. Fruits or fruit juices are also preferred in order to prevent cancer of breast.
5.Avoid Cigarette Smoking: Cigarette smoking is also one of the major cause of breast cancer. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited.
6.Practice Self Examination of the Breast: It is essential to examine your breast at regular intervals of time. This process is known as BSE (Breast Self-Examination). You can also visit the doctor and get it examined.
7.Use of Natural Sunscreen: You should apply natural sunscreen on your skin in order to prevent breast cancer. Avoid direct rays of the sun or exposure to any ultra violets rays.
8.Avoid Exposure to Pollution and Radiation: Pollution and radiation therapy increases the risk of this type of cancer. Therefore, it is recommended to use mask while driving.
9.Limit the Use of Preserved Food: Consumption of preserved or frozen food can be risky, as it can cause cancer of breast.
10.Consume Supplements Daily: Supplements such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E, etc should be consumed in order to eliminate the risk of breast cancer.
These are some of the breast cancer facts that need to be known and taken into consideration, as it helps to reduce the risk of breast cancer in an effective manner.
