Many times in the course of our spiritual journey we do lots of reading, do lots of chanting, do lots of meditation and contemplation… yet does any of this mean anything?

We can read all the spiritual books on the planet, we can chant all day long, we can meditate for hours, and contemplate for hours.

Yet if we forget about all of this when we go to work, or pick up the kids, or need to talk to our spouse… does any of this work mean anything in the long run?

Taking the time to do all these spiritual processes and then ignoring them in our daily lives means absolutely nothing.

It’s important that if we read spiritual passages about love and kindness… to incorporate more loving kindness into our daily lives.

It’s important that if we are chanting to do this with humility and peace… and have that humility and peace become part of our daily life when out in the world.

It’s important to meditate and keep that peace with us all day long.

It’s important to contemplate our day seeking to find new ways that we can express more love.

It boils down to action… love is a verb and it needs to be expressed in every aspect of our lives.

Otherwise, we are just adding another layer of ego to our life, and not really finding the essence of the spiritual teachings.

In fact, it would be better to do just one thing such as meditation and do it well, and carry that peace with us throughout the day and express it in our daily lives… instead of doing 100 things and not become a better person.

So Love and Then Love Some More!

Many Blessings to Everyone
