Obesity is increasing at a rapid rate all over the world, and has become one of the biggest challenges for those living in urban areas. People try all sorts of things, mostly physical exercises in order to shed some weight, but only a small fraction considers taking healthy foods. With time most people get used to these habits making the battle to lose weight even harder. This is where weight loss with hypnosis becomes useful, although it has not been scientifically proven to yield substantial results.
First of all, weight loss through hypnosis is not direct rather it occurs after a person’s image of themselves, their ideas and eventually habits have been altered. Consequently, a person starts losing weight. Hypnotherapists combine images, suggestions and words and introduce them to a person’s mind with the aim of altering their body image, thought and belief system. In this way, a person is equipped to embrace healthy habits for losing weight. Using hypnosis to lose weight is only possible if it is used alongside other methods such as exercising.
It is important to keep in mind that losing weight using the hypnosis method is not for everyone. In order for one to be receptive to this method, they have to be willing to be hypnotized. Secondly, one must have full trust in the hypnotherapist and the methods they will use for the process. If one is not willing to submit their minds to the instructions of the hypnotherapists, going through the process could be a waste of time. Apart from hypnosis, one can use binaural and isochronic beats to help them lose weight. These beats help in reprogramming the subconscious mind by producing frequencies ranging from 4-8Hz, which stimulate the Theta state of the mind.
This state is equivalent to a deep trance and is easily achieved by experienced mediators. Monaural beats also work very well in weight reduction, although most people claim that isochronic tones are much more effective. These forms of brainwave entrainment mainly target a person’s general health over their weight in order to change the mindset. By changing a person’s focus from that of weight loss to that of health, the method begins to tune one into a positive state of mind taking advantage of the fact that like attracts like. If a person focuses on the negative aspects of losing weight, they attract more of what they do not want.
By using binaural beats, which have been scientifically proven to work on anyone, one is enabled to focus on positive body health aspects. Consequently, one attracts better health and eventually attains many healthy bodies in the process. Using binaural beats for weight loss is much cheaper and easier to use than other methods such as diet programs and use of weight loss pills. Of course, there are still other things one needs to do in order to achieve this, but using binaural beats makes the process a lot easier and enjoyable as compared to weight loss with hypnosis.
