Weight loss, is it easy to lose weight? rnPerhaps not initially, but over time it can be. Anyone who says it is easy, has a nose that grows quite long I expect! The key to losing weight AND keeping it off, is a Change Of Lifestyle. rnBut change is not a great word for us to hear, right…..I can almost see some people touching the mouse ready to click away from this page! Stay, please…..I will try not to use that word again! rnWeight loss involves modifying your habits. Now lets put that into perspective. HABITS are just something that we have done over and over and over, that’s all! We CAN RETRAIN OUR MINDS AND OUR BODIES TO PICK UP GOOD HABITS….I mean the healthy ones, and then do them over and over and over……and voila we have broken the cycle and got into new healthy WEIGHTLOSS habits! OK I am making it sound easy and it does take time, but it can be done! Do you eat to ease the pain, the pain of having a fat body? If you do…..then you are not alone as I’m sure you know, but does eating make you feel any better?…….not really…maybe a short term burst, but then you pass by the mirror and glance down at your “muffin top” and you are back where you started, and the cycle starts again. In order to succeed in Weight loss AND keep the weight off, YOU MUST CHANGE YOUR WAY OF THINKING! (sorry about slipping in the ch word again!) You must push yourself continually, you must push all those negative thoughts out of your head, you know the ones, “oh you’ll never be slim/fit/healthy/lovable” or “you can’t do it so why even try?” and keep shouting to yourself that YOU CAN DO IT and eventually you will start to believe it and YOU WILL LOSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF. It’s the same with unhealthy food, keep saying NO OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN and it will become natural and the cravings will go and you will find yourself gravitating towards healthy feel good foods. Trust me! But more importantly TRUST YOURSELF YOU CAN DO IT!
