There are a lot of things that a big brand expects from an experienced web designer. Whether it is out of the box thinking or following tried and tested methods. A web designer should be able to work with and deliver the projected that was envisioned by the brand. Below are a few things that big brands expect from web designers. Experience A client would like to see the experience a web designer brings to the table. Not only the years of experience a web designer has but also what industries and technologies have he/she worked with. They would like to know how much experience does the designer have working on the designing tools that are required for the project. Knowledge Experience does not mean knowledge. There are many web designers who have been active for many years but they lack the knowledge that is required in this field. A web designer should be aware of the current market trends. He/she should know which designs work for what industry. For example; a brilliant design for a hospital would not do well in the entertainment industry. Impressive Portfolio A client would like to see the work a web designer has done in the past. Those designs should be creative and stand out in the crowd of portfolios they see. If the web designer has worked on a similar project in the past that can be seen as an added advantage. Wireframes A client would expect the web designer to be able to give them a full scope of work before the project and corresponding wireframes subsequently. Earlier it was ok for a designer to only show the website layout using photoshop or any other image platform. But now wireframes have become a standard procedure so an experienced web designer should use these instead if simple layouts. Good UX Apart from a brilliant looking website a client would also require that the customer has a good user experience when it comes to using the website. This includes the design and functionality of the website. An experienced web designer should be able to design a website keeping the end-user in mind. Out of the Box Thinking An experienced web designer should be able to foresee and tackle any design problems that may occur. There are always going to be hiccups while designing a website but the designer should be able to think out of the box and solve the problem creatively. Communication When working with a brand a
