Corporate team building activities can fit into a pretty broad category. However, for our purposes at Summit Team Building we define corporate team building activities as team building programs that are focused, engaging, professionally designed and led and have a deliberate learning component to them.
At Summit, corporate team building activities are a large part of our business and we have been successfully delivering them throughout the world (mostly in Canada) for more than 20 years.
One of our most popular corporate team building activities is a team building program we call Put Your Chef Hat On! This culinary team building program uses food as a vehicle for building high performance teams. This competitive team building program challenges teams to create and promote a culinary masterpiece. Teams must first earn their ‘Chef Bucks’, which is the only currency accepted at our general store. They do this through a series of team and individual challenges that are adult appropriate, fun and engaging. They then take this currency and purchase food items from our general store including, but not limited to pasta, bread, spices, fruits, vegetables, cooking utensils, and marketing supplies.
Once completed the plated meal is presented to the group. Each team is judged based on their overall teamwork, their creativity, their presentation, the plating of the dish, and their marketing presentation. Ultimately one team will become our Chef Hat champions.
