Stress can lead to life-threatening physical illnesses that are caused by high blood pressure. Diet and genetics do play a big part in high blood pressure, but stress is also a major contributor. Although there might be other causes, stress can easily make high blood pressure worse. Learning to manage your stress can help you prevent or even manage your high blood pressure. It's obvious to see why controlling your stress is linked to your blood pressure. Frequent headaches can be a result of people who are under a lot of stress. Headaches are normal and have a variety of causes, but if you are experiencing them frequently, then you should have it checked out by a doctor. While it also has other causes, migraines are the worst type of stress-related headaches. Along with headaches, stress can also lead to dental problems because you tend to clench your jaw or grind your teeth. These are but a few examples of how stress can lead to physical symptoms that can get worse over time if you don't find a way to deal with the underlying problem. Many people find that as they learn to manage their stress that their physical symptoms vanish. Modern life is fast-paced and we are subjected to a number of stressful situations.
