Our ancient scriptures and the great works of some highly spiritual Saints help us gain very good insight on the path of enquiry of the Real Self. The teachings of the Enlightened Masters further uplift our consciousness so that we can be better equipped to know the real Self. But what about the actual experience of this Real Self?! No matter how sincerely, frequently and rigorously we may read these spiritual scriptures and teachings of Enlightened Masters, we can never find the Real Self by doing this much. Reading the teachings, we may envisage how the Real Self would be, but ultimately it’s nothing but imagination; whereas the Real Self is the ultimate truth, beyond every imagination. The spiritual books can reveal what the Enlightened Masters experienced; but it is not our own experience. We can continue to read the scriptures and teachings of the Enlightened Master; there’s no harm in that. Just that internally, we ought to realize ‘who am I’. Once we know ‘who am I’, only then does our spiritual progress actually begin. So what are the steps one should take to know the Real Self?rnGenerally, one has to take several steps such as renouncing one’s possessions, going to a solitary place or ashram, do strict sadhana i.e. practice penance, do meditation, keep fasting, chant mantras, follow rituals, etc., so that one can arrive at the stage where one attains Self-Realization. This is called the step-by-step path to reach upto Self-Realization. There’s also another path that is called the Akram path. This is the stepless path to Self-Realization, where we directly realize the Real Self by the grace of the Living Gnani in just two hours only - just like Arjun did by the grace of Lord Krishna! ‘Akram’ means without steps i.e. an elevator path, whereas ‘Kram’ means an orderly, step-by-step spiritual path. One can say Akram is a direct shortcut to the bliss of the Self. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan gave to the world this spiritual science of Akram Vignan. Param Pujya Dadashri got Self-Realization in 1958. He always wanted to know really ‘who am I, who governs this Universe, where is God, what is God doing, what is the right address of God, how the bondage of karma happens, how can one come out of the bondage of karma and get ultimate salvation.’ He was searching for it, and in 1958, he got the Realization automatically. He experienced the Universal truth. And through his divine scientific experiment (The Gnan Vidhi), he imparted this knowledge to others as well within two hours. Thousands have received His grace through this process and thousands continue to do so even now. The link of Akram Gnanis now continues with the current spiritual master Pujya Deepakbhai Desai, whom Pujya Dadashri had graced with special siddhis (powers) to continue to teach the world about knowledge of the Real Self and the Akram Science. Pujya Deepakbhai has explored great depths of Akram Science and today, as He continues to grace thousands of seekers around the world through satsangs / Gnan Vidhi, He has become instrumental in bringing peace and eternal joy in the lives of many. rnEvery session of satsang / Gnan Vidhi is priceless and therefore it is absolutely free of cost for us all. It is highly recommended to attend a Gnan Vidhi conducted by Pujya Deepakbhai to experience this eternal bliss of the Real Self. To conclude:rnThese scriptures and teachings of Enlightened Masters definitely inspire and motivate us, in a big way, to somehow experience the majestic real Self. But to actually experience the real Self, we need to take the most essential and mandatory step of going to the Living Gnani, the Enlightened One, and enquire before Him about the Real Self. With His grace, we not only attain Self-Realization, but also, under his guidance progress on His shown path and attain ultimate liberation! To answer your question, let’s study the following words of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, an Enlightened being, very carefully. He says: “This puzzle has come about on its own, governed by the laws of science. I am telling you that this world is run only by Scientific Circumstantial Evidences. In Gujarati, I call it 'Vyavasthit Shakti'... It is all run by scientific circumstantial evidences. The whole world is run by this energy. These words are not easy to understand, unless
