I don’t know about you, but 2012 was quite an eventful year! Many things changed, but a lot remained the same. While I did accomplish a lot last year in terms of goals I had set at the beginning of the year, there are still a few things that I wanted to get done, that didn’t.
I know that I can find a lot of reasons why things weren’t accomplished – not enough time, not enough money, not enough help, but the reality is I didn’t have a clear plan and because of that, I lost focus. I’m not beating myself up about it, just facing the facts that things could have played out differently if I had set out a plan or a schedule to make the goals I set out in January 2012 a reality. With that realization, I had to ask myself as I set my goals for 2013, what I was going to do differently this year so that I didn’t end up with another list of incomplete goals?
I have decided that one of the biggest obstacles that prevented me from achieving my goals last year was poor time management. This doesn’t mea
I am now going to plan every second of every day, just that I was going to be more definite about my intentions. I am now going to make sure that I set aside some time each day to doing something towards the achievement of my goals. Whether it’s an hour dedicated to completing my book, or 30 minutes set aside to following up with potential clients, I am going to make sure that I take action!
I’ve also made a commitment to stepping out of my comfort zone. I made baby steps in 2012, but I need to take some larger strides! I’m really taking to heart the advice Marianne Williamson provides in her infamous quote from A Return to Love:
“… playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
No more hiding in the shadows! I am going to put myself out there so that I can truly share my experiences with others and help in any way I can in assisting others tap into their divine potential!
A New Year bring with it infinite possibilities! We all have so many hopes and dreams when the year begins, yet we lose steam as we hit obstacles or simply don’t plan well enough. We need to remember that most great things don’t happen ove
ight. They take time, and with that understanding, we can do small things everyday that will help us to make 2013 our best year yet, and each one after that even better!

If the world is an illusion meant to be transcended, why does it exist at all?
To answer your question, letâs study the following words of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, an Enlightened being, very carefully.
