What Does a Psychic Look like?
Recently I have been working with quite a few youth who are extremely intuitive. This reminds me of an event that took place years ago where I met a young boy. The boy’s mother wanted me to discuss with him the normalcy of intuiting the spirit around him as he was afraid of the deceased ancestors that were around the house..
When I arrived at the home and met the young boy, he had a puzzled look upon his face. Scrutinizing me from my head to my toes and back up again, he looked very puzzled and it dawned on me that he was looking for outward sign of recognition that I, too, had intuitive gifts.
Psychics and Mediums come in all different shapes, sizes, genders and colors. More developed Psychics and Mediums, and those who work professionally, don’t go out of their way to appear weird or flamboyant. Yes, we may have little idiosyncrasies and quirks but very rarely will you see a professional reader with long flowing black or purple gowns, wings on their back, veils over their heads and walking around with crystal balls. There may be an occasional Halloween event where they need to dress the part, but this certainly isn’t their everyday presentation.
Getting back to the young boy… After seeing his puzzled look, I asked him, “I don’t look like a psychic do I?” To which he answered, “No”. We went on and had a wonderful discussion about his amazing gifts and how to nurture and grow them. We talked about there being many other children and adults who have gifts much like his own. My main goal when working with him was to help him feel normal.
To answer the question, “What Do Psychics Look Like”, the answer is unending. You may just be surprised because it could be the person sitting next to you, your coworker, your boss, your spouse, your child, your grandchild, your dentist, hairdresser or bus driver. It could even be you!
