In the last post, we talked about how different colours in Roses all stand for an emotion and a definition. We said that in this post we shall talk about some more colours and touch upon the significance of orchids and the occasions where they are appropriate to gift. So, here we are!
Deep Burgundy A sleeping beauty. A beauty which nerves knows its true potential and always wants a catalyst to make it realize so. A deep burgundy rose plays this catalyst beautifully and has "Unconscious Beauty" written over all its markings
A Thorn Less Rose: A flat rose without any thorns depicts "love at first sight". Love which is unreal, reel-like and a fantasy for many. Gift her one if you knew that she was the one when you first set a glance on her.
Black: Contrary to public opinion on these, black roses are not just used at the time of death. It is but more than death, a black roses symbolizes farewell. It might be a departing soul or a life in flesh and blood, which is leaving your embrace and setting out on a journey.
Coral: Lust, desire, want. Coral roses have always stood for the carnal side of our relationships and they denote that we are vouching for the sexual compatibility between the partners. So the next time you receive a bunch of coral roses, you know that the evening is going to sizzle!
Blue: For everyone, there is a mission not yet achieved or a woman not yet fazed by the attention you shower on her. The relentless chasing has not yielded any fruits for you and you are contemplating to let it go. Just one final shot of presenting her with a bunch of blue roses might just do the trick. Blue Roses have historically stood for insurmountable takes and unachievable goals.
Dark Pink: Dark Pink roses stand for the "Thank You" statement. You got a promotion and you want to thank the boss; you got a publisher agreeing to publish your book; you have aced all your baking classes - you want to thank people with a bunch of dark pink roses. Do not even think about any other color.
The next post will talk about the marvelous orchids and how they add meaning to the grand occasions of life as well as the daily occurrences of certain events which warrant use of orchids. Till then, rose up!
