“What if We Held Everything as Sacred”
For the most part we tend to look at life from a sacred point of view only when we are in prayer, doing meditation, or during the holidays. But what if we held everything as sacred 24/7? Things might be very different on the planet… lets take a look.
What if we held life as sacred? - If we were to hold all life as sacred, then there would be no wars, no killing, no ending of life of any kind. What a wonderful world it would be.
What if we held all thoughts as sacred? - If we were to honor all thoughts as sacred, even the dark shadowy thoughts as something that comes and goes but they are sacred, then every soul on the planet would be heard. If every thought were held sacred, even if the thought is good, bad, or something in between, it would be important and recognized and honored and thus transparency would be the norm… thus nothing would be hidden. Thus many of the great misunderstandings we have right now would fade away.
What if we held the planet as sacred? - If we were to hold the planet itself as sacred global warming would be a thing of the past because we would do what ever it takes to save the planet and create harmony for all life.
What if we held our bodies as sacred? - If we held our bodies as sacred then drinking, using drugs, abusing our bodies with food and other abusive ways of dealing with our bodies would disappear. Because the our temple would be cared for and nurtured.
What if we held water as sacred? - If we held water as sacred we would say a little prayer just before drinking a glass of water, and use water as a very precious resource even more than what we do now. We would no longer taint our water with chemicals and industrial waste, thus and our oceans, rivers, and streams would be clean, clear, and pristine.
What if we held rocks and minerals as sacred? - If we held all rocks and minerals as sacred and deemed them all to hold spiritual importance… we would end all mining, end all open pit mines, and no longer desecrate the planet and poison the world.
What if we held trees as sacred? - If we held all trees as important sacred living beings full of spirit, we would no longer destroy trees but hold them close and talk to them as living beings. We would protect trees and make sure that not one single tree would be harmed… thus the oxygen of the planet would once again rise and life would flourish and thrive.
What if we held all animal life sacred? - If we held all animal life sacred we would honor the deer, cattle, the wildebeest, and the lion with the lamb. We would no longer see them as something we own but as something we manage and care for with the helping hand of great spirit. Thus we would preserve and protect all animal life on the planet.
What if we held food as sacred? - If we held all food as sacred we would no longer fill our food with chemicals, manipulate food in unnatural ways, and change food to meet our needs instead of working with the planet to bring about abundance. Thus all animal and human life would be healthy and vital.
What if we held all differences as sacred? - If we held all differences between people as scared and important, then all discrimination, hatred, and racism would end. We would see that all people are important and that every single soul has something to contribute… no matter their skin color, their language, and where they originated from. We would see that everyone has something to contribute to the planet. Thus the vibration of the planet be uplifted… and life would be easy and peaceful.
What if we held love as the most sacred of all? - If we held love as the most sacred of all emotions, the most sacred feeling, the most sacred action, and the most sacred way of working in the world—everything would change. If every man, woman, and child would love one another all problems would melt away. If challenge should arise, we would look at the challenge through the lens of love. Thus we would use love to dissipate the challenge and create a loving atmosphere for all involved.
Interestingly enough, down though the ages there have been many indigenous cultures who’ve held all of these sacred ways of living. But most of them have been destroyed or marginalized because of their views… and now we are all paying the price. It’s time to go back, it’s time to learn from those indigenous tribes and hold everything as sacred.
Many Blessings to Everyone!
