Imagine your Life path is a dark tunnel. At the very end, you can see the light. It's a dark scary path, one that you have no choice but to begin. You take the first step into the tunnel and the entrance begins to close. This is your Life, you have only one direction to go...forward.

Every step that you take from this point on is a step in the right direction because there is only one. This has been your Life from day one whether you realize it now or not, but every "wrong" choice or "mistake" you have made up until this point has formed you into who you are today! And the person you are today is perfect for every situation you face. You have the most opportunity for growth and as you make new choices in your Life, you become aware that there is no "good" or "bad", only forward movement.

Every choice is another step, one that moves you closer to the light, and as you move closer, the light begins to grow. You see hope, you see the "light at the end of the tunnel". Before you know it, you're basking in it's glory.

It's just sitting there, waiting for you to realize it...It has always been there. In fact, you have always been and have always had exactly who you have always wanted to be and have always wanted to have. You just haven't realized it yet, you haven't realized that that potential was there until you have actually stopped running from your challenges, taken hold of the opportunity, and used it. Once you do achieve that realization of success, you realize that you were always capable of having it, all you had to do was take that first step!

Nobody said it was going to be easy, of course you had to work for it, but it's not about doing simple little exercises to boost your self-esteem and self-confidence. It's not about wearing the coolest clothes that make you feel good about the way you look. It's not about repeating affirmations to trick yourself into thinking you feel good when you're really down in the dumps! It's about complete physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual development; and it is going to be the hardest thing you have ever accomplished in your life. It's about looking in the mirror, and asking yourself if you have what it takes to achieve the things that you want. It's about asking yourself if you have the backbone to achieve the things that inspire you and make you feel great!

I was watching my six and nine year old daughters playing the other morning when suddenly there was a barrage of I Hate You and I Don't Like You Anymore statements flying about the room.
