Pain comes in different forms. It can come about acutely or very gradually and then linger. Some pain can be chronic where it pulsates for 24 hours a day seven days a week. The former types generally have a stopping point where taking medication alleviates the pain. However, the latter types seem to have no ending point even with medication. One disorder that consistently brings about constant discomfort and pain even with medication is endometriosis. What Is Endometriosis? It is a health disorder that occurs when the cells from the uterus grow in places outside of the uterus where they do not belong. Specifically, when a woman has her period, instead of these cells being passed out, they implant themselves in areas such as the ovaries, rectum, or other areas of the pelvic region. Symptoms What are the symptoms of endometriosis? Severe pain is recognized in the lower quadrants of abdomen in the area of the ovaries. Sometimes this is coupled with headaches as well as diarrhea, dizziness, nausea, and lower back pain. Is There Another Cause? Several research studies have been taken showing that a strong possibility for endometriosis is oxidative stress. Notice what Dr. Ashok Agarwal, from the Cleveland Clinic, wrote in his article Role of Oxidative Stress in Endometriosis: “Of the several hypotheses that have been proposed to explain the pathophysiology of endometriosis, OS (oxidative stress) is one of the leading theories. There is cumulative evidence in animal and human studies that show OS is one of the main processes in the pathogenesis of endometriosis. OS and inflammation are closely linked and have been proposed to play a role in the aetiology of both ovarian cancer and endometriosis.” It must also be stated that Dr. Agarwal felt that the animal and human trials mentioned needed to be verified by larger randomized controlled trials. Additionally, he also stated that possible treatments for endometriosis such as antioxidant supplementation, immunomodulators, and selective progesterone have been investigated but more testing is needed for further verification. Whether or not oxidative stress is the primary cause for endometriosis the fact that it has been associated with endometriosis cannot be denied. How to Limit Oxidative Stress The root cause of oxidative stress is when hydroxyl radicals enter the body when we breathe in oxygen. They consist of one oxygen molecule and one hydrogen molecule and they ravage the cell looking for more hydrogen to consume. Now imagine this happening in every one of your cells. The responsibility of glutathione is to pass off an extra hydrogen molecule to these harmful radicals, producing harmless water, which eventually passes from the body. To simplify it, the molecular formula for an oxyradical is OH. Add another hydrogen (H) molecule to it and you get two molecules of hydrogen and one of oxygen. If we are to reduce oxidative stress in the body then raising the level of glutathione is a must. A Natural Treatment for Endometriosis Immunocalis the only 100% natural product available on the market that effectively raises the body’s level of glutathione. Glutathione cannot be taken orally but has to be produced by the body. Immunocal is a whey protein isolate but its formulation (double-bonded cysteine connected by a disulfide) allows it to make it through the stomach's acid for full absorption into the blood via the intestines. When the cysteine is absorbed into the blood it connects with two other amino acids, glutamate and glycine to form glutathione. Glutathione is proven to rid the body of hydroxyl radicals that cause oxidative stress. The way Immunocal is formulated makes it much different than any other whey protein or supplement for that matter; it is scientifically proven and it is patent protected in 77 countries. This means simply that no other company can create it or model after it. The patents protect that from happening. So you can be sure that this product will do what is says; raise glutathione. The patents prove it and so do the 34 clinical tests. Oxidative stress has been linked to endometriosis. If you suffer from this disorder then Immunocal may be the product that brings you relief from the pain you suffer.
