Many people in this world derive happiness by indulging in activities such as shopping, beauty parlour, etc. or by celebrating events such as their birthdays, marriages, anniversaries, etc. or from personal achievements such as job promotion, new home purchase, etc. When you give Happiness, you get HappinessrnBut bringing a genuine hearty smile on a face is what Happiness is all about. rnAnd when we do something that makes our beloved ones smile, it overwhelms us with happiness, especially if it is our aged Parents, or sometimes our specially abled children, or any other family member suffering from a chronic ailment. I am so fortunate to have been able to assist my beloved ones and make their life easy and cheerful. I think I have lived my life well.” My Own HappinessrnOn the other hand, when we only do things that please us alone and care a damn whether this hurts or harms others, it is called ‘living for our own worldly happiness’. rnSuch happiness is extremely short-lived and highly volatile. Over time, this lifestyle makes one very finicky, impatient and highly weak-minded. So it is not advisable for anyone to choose the ‘living for one’s own materialistic happiness’. And if it in anyways seems to be hurting or upsetting your beloved ones, this is a strictly No-No option. One must very quickly switch over to the ‘living for beloved ones’ option and resolve the matter amicably because you don’t want to hurt them, right? Right.
