Every single person is in constant search of happinessrnHowever, one generally relies on material things such as food, money or the company of others to give us happiness. It has become the norm to depend on transitory, worldly things to give us happiness. Therefore, all too often, when we go on a holiday, or attend a concert, have been to a nice restaurant, or purchase some latest gadgets, initially we do feel happy, but shortly afterwards, feel empty once again, and soon get troubled by some unhappiness that comes our way. And again, we are back in search of happiness that could last a bit longer. Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan, the Enlightened being, explains that worldly happiness is found not in enjoying material things ourselves, but rather in giving to others whatever we have. rnWhen anyone uses their mind, speech and body in the service of others, for the benefit of others, Nature rewards them with bountiful happiness. Therefore, the inner intent of helping others should always be on our mind. This will naturally result in inner happiness. Yet, this is not permanent happiness as it falls in the realm of worldly happiness. So where can we find permanent happiness? The permanent happiness that we all are seeking is right within us rnYes! And this happiness is not dependent on any material things or people. Rather, it is a natural, inherent and integral part of us. This happiness is constant, regardless of whether the external circumstances are favourable or unfavourable. rnParam Pujya Dada Bhagwan describes true happiness to be that which does not increase or decrease regardless of the circumstance. True happiness can never be derived from worldly matters. Permanent happiness comes from the Self within, the pure Soul. Then, what is it that prevents us from connecting with this real happiness?rnIt is the ignorance of Self, our real Self i.e. the Soul. We believe, ‘I am this body and name.’ This wrong belief verily gives us unhappiness and is the cause of all our sufferings. rnSelf-Realisation connects us with our true self and thus exposes us to real inner happiness! When we attain Self-Realisation i.e. the knowledge of our true Self from the Enlightened being (a Gnani), the veil of ignorance is removed, and the right belief of ‘who am I’ sets in, thus connecting us with our true Self. Param Pujya Dadashri, after Self Realisation, discovered that the pure Soul, which resides in every living being, is the abode of infinite bliss. When people experience the Soul and become one with their pure Soul, they gain an experience of infinite, absolute bliss. This in essence is true happiness because it is derived from the Soul, which is permanent. Hence, this happiness is not temporary or dependent on external or worldly factors. Once the bliss of the Soul (Self) is attained, it never leaves. Bliss of the Soul is eternal – Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan. rnParam Pujya Dada Bhagwan had a strong inner intent that may every being attain the happiness that he attained. The foundation of Akram Vignan (a stepless spiritual science) is based on experiencing bliss of the Soul and becoming free from all kinds of unhappiness forever. The current torchbearer of Akram Vignan, Pujya Deepakbhai, travels worldwide bestowing the knowledge of Self-realisation on all of those who are passionate about knowing who really am I, and thus, becoming free from unhappiness.
