We all have healthy fears and unhealthy fears. Our healthy fears act as the natural safeguards which we use to sense and avoid dangerous situations. Our unhealthy fears, on the other hand, hold us back from growing and can cause chaos in our lives because one is constantly trying to get rid of situations that cause fear. rnFears of failure, of judgment, of commitment or of abandonment are all unhealthy fears. rnUnhealthy fear means fear that is false, illusionary and highly aggravated in intensity. Think for just a minute about the time you have spent being fearful and worrying. Looking back, you might see that much of what you fearfully anticipated turned out fine. So, precious moments in life - moments that could have been full of love, creativity and presence - were taken over by our fear. So, we must ask ourselves, “Am I letting fear control me, or am I committed to growing my own self through real knowledge? Am I willing to do the work it takes to transform my fear?” The important thing is that fear doesn't have to be paralyzing. And if we want freedom from fear, it is not that difficult. With real knowledge, right intention and adequate motivation, we can eliminate all our fears. rnSuppose, while in bed, you suddenly see something. You think it is a snake that has entered your room. You are not able to sleep the entire night, tormented by this fear. However, as the day breaks and there is light in the room, you realize it was only a collar tie. Knowing the reality, the fear vanishes, isn’t it?! rnFear appears in the darkness of ignorance. In the light of real knowledge, fear disappears!rnFear in the worldly life is propagated through ignorance. Our main ignorance is the ignorance of the Self. We wrongly believe the body to be our real self. The body or the name given to this body (eg. John) is temporary whereas we, the Self, are permanent. One has never seen or realized the domain of the real Self and therefore continues to exist in the domain of the temporary. “One experiences fear to whatever degree he believes himself to be temporary” says Param Pujya Dadashri, founder of Akram Vignan, the spiritual science that reveals a step-less path to Self-realization, “‘I am John’ is a temporary state. When one believes he is John, he will be subject to fear. However, with the awareness that, ‘I am Pure Soul, nothing can happen to me for I am the eternal’, what is there to fear?” So what is the core reason for fear? rnYou consider yourself as temporary. rnAnd how does one get rid of fear?rnFear vanishes with the knowledge of the Self (Self-Realization); when we gain the right vision of ‘I am the Soul, which is the eternal Self’!rnHow do we attain Self-Realization?rnOnly a lit candle can light another candle. Through the scientific approach of Akram Vignan, we all can attain Self-Realization in just two hours, by meeting the grace of the living Enlightened One!!! Being liberated, He is the liberator, the savior and the beacon light – living to lift and liberate others. He enlightens our Soul.
