Inner wisdom, truth, authentic self, intuition, life joy…all of these refer to the same thing: the voice inside your heart, mind and “gut” that guides you quietly, clearly and truly. Your authentic self is completely supportive of you, but you will surely notice when you’re not listening to it.

When did you last listen to your authentic self? It is often drowned out by the ego-mind (aka the inner critic), but that inner critic cannot drown out the feelings you have that something isn’t quite right. Feelings of unhappiness, distress, fear. Feeling like there must be more to life and that this can’t be it are symptoms of you ignoring your authentic self.

These feelings can only be quieted by listening to your authentic self. And you’ll immediately know when you stopped following the inner critic and tuned into your inner truth.

Symptoms include: Happiness, peace and inner joy; Living in every moment and loving life; Being full to the brim with gratitude and appreciation; Having wonderful things, people and opportunities presented.

The more you follow the authentic self, the more amazing you feel and the better life gets. It takes a lot of courage to give up pretense and follow your truth. It’s very scary, but isn’t the idea of a life full of unhappiness, obligations and negativity worse?

Set yourself free! Listen to your authentic self.
