Then often prayer to St. Joseph to sell a house, get jobs, houses, marriages etc.

St. Joseph is being regarded as a model of father. They dedicate prayer to him for protection, happiness, and financial help and for many more things. The St. Joseph prayer is, “O, Saint Joseph, you who taught our Lord the carpenter’s trade, and saw to it that he was always properly housed, hear my earnest plea. I want you to help me now as you helped your foster-child Jesus, and as you have helped many others in the matter of housing. I wish to sell this [house/property] quickly, easily, and profitably and I implore you to grant my wish by bringing me a good buyer, one who is eager, compliant, and honest, and by letting nothing impede the rapid conclusion of the sale.’’

How the prayer works

According to the belief, if one says the St. Joseph prayer everyday while the house sell process is going on, you will sell your house in a few days and will get a fair price just the way you expected. In Catholics, St. Joseph is often referred to as ‘the real estate agent’. People say that he is the best real estate agent as he does not take any kind of commission from the people who want to sell houses. According to them, if one says the prayer correctly and performs the ritual in the right way they can get good fortune along with selling their house. In terms of performing the ritual in a right way one must get a statue of St. Joseph, which is usually small in height between 3 - 8 inches.

Many people think that the statue should be buried upside down in the front yard of the home, facing towards the house. It will ensure that he is focused on your house and the selling process will be faster. Others believe that the statue should be buried within the 3 feet of the ‘for sale’ sign. It is said that he helps anyone who seeks help. In most of the cases if you hire a real estate agent they also bury the St. Joseph statue for the sake of ritual to sell the house quickly.

If you truly believe in St. Joseph you can get the result. One should have faith in god; otherwise it is hard to get any result out of it. Often if a person believes in the prayer they get a buyer who fell attracted towards your home and seals the deal right away. But it is entirely up to the person if he wants to believe in St. Joseph or not.
