What is the scientific definition of soul or consciousness or inner personality?

The most scientific definition of Soul is that, ‘The Soul is our Self.’ We may know about so many things in this world, but do you know we do not know our own Self? That is our ignorance. And due to this ignorance, we keep believing that, “I am the body or I am the name (given to identify the body).” This is a wrong belief that is generated owing to one’s ignorance of the Self. In reality, body is temporary and so are the parts or organs within the body.
