The movie The Secret is taking the World by storm and many people are left asking ‘what is it all about?’ The Secret is a refreshed way of looking at the book ‘The Science of Getting Rich – By Wallace D. Wattles’ which was written in 1910. After being lost on bookshelves for a long time, it resurfaced in end of 2004 when a creative woman – Rhonda Byrne, in Melbou
e Australia came across it. The Secret is knowing how to do things in a certain way using the Law of Attraction and the Science of Getting Rich to manifest things such as wealth, good health, fulfilling relationships and prosperity into your life.

You want to get rich so you can eat, drink and be merry when you want to. You want to be rich so you can have nice things, travel the world, feed your mind, develop your intellect, love people, do kind things and to be able to play a good part in helping the world find truth.

We have to be aware that everything originates in our own mind first and then materializes in the outside world. If not for thought, there would be no creation. The problem is that we have been programmed to live from the outside in – in other words, to take our surroundings and see that; as being what we are, what we have and what we can achieve in our life. This is wrong – we need to live from the inside out and realize that we can create our own future and destiny – we just have to allow possibility to be there.

The Science of Getting Rich is based on the premise that there is one great law and that is ‘Energy Is Everything’. All the things around us are of material substance and that material substance is actually impulses of energy. Thoughts are the most potent form of Energy. Under this one great law there are 7 subsidiary laws and whilst they are all interdependent of each other, they are related to each other too. These Laws will be covered in detail in the next article.

You have to remember that success is a direction you choose. It is the progressive realization of your goals. You can achieve success by changing your thoughts and by thinking and acting in a certain way. It all begins when you focus on the things you WANT – not what you DON’T want. If you say ‘I don’t want to be in debt’ you will attract more debt. Instead try saying ‘I am so happy and grateful that I live in abundance and I have more than enough money for everything I want’ and you WILL attract it. This is because the subconscious mind cannot process a negative. We will cover this in detail later.

If you can build the image in your mind and hold it you will attract all that is required for the manifestation of it.
