The kind of pirates they speak of are thirteen year old girls, college students, and tech savvy adults. They are speaking about the people who download or stream the content that they own without paying for it. Media piracy is a rampant problem, but why is it so widespread. Are people unwilling to pay for media? Do they just not care about all the money and hard work that goes into making these wonderful movies and TV shows? That is four different ways for the consumer to see the movie at different places and different times. They could spend all this money and they still do not own the movie yet. Why should movie companies be able to charge for the same content to the same person over and over again. You would not pay for anything else in this manner.
