Hair loss is one of the most common problems that people face in their day-to-day lives. The most prevalent hair loss condition is Androgenetic alopecia, which is a semi-natural process depending on the genetics of the individual and can only be temporarily inhibited with medications. The medications available for preventing Androgenetic alopecia include oral Finasteride and topical Minodoxil solution. For females, Minodoxil is the most effective treatment for Androgenetic alopecia. However, there are no medications available that can restore the hairs that are already lost. For the permanent solution of hair loss, Hair Transplant is the only treatment that provides highly promising results. Hair Transplant in Gurgaon is a surgical procedure in which hairs from donor area i.e. backside of the scalp is extracted and implanted in the area of baldness. The most commonly used techniques for hair transplantation are Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE). Follicular Unit Transplantation is the most frequently used technique around the globe for treating both male and female pattern baldness.rnThis method is known for its highly advanced technique in hair transplantation, by this method, the transplanted hair will have natural hair growth and it will be a good choice for people who have large bald areas on their head.rnDuring FUT, a strip of skin is extracted from the back of the scalp where the hair is more resistant to hair fall. With the help of stitches, the skin is covered in the area from where the follicles had removed. The area from where the strip is taken will leaves, a linear scar on the donor area.rnThe strip that extracted contains the hair follicles, are divided into small individual grafts consisting of one or two follicles.rnThen individual hair grafts are placed at the recipient area by using an implanter pen or stick and forceps method. rnFollicular Unit Extraction is a newer method of hair transplant; the scalp tissues are not extracted. Instead, the follicles are extracted one by one with a special device called a punch. These are then transplanted to the affected areas. This procedure reduces recovery time as well as scarring to a minimal.rnHere in this method, the extraction of hair follicles is done with the help of a device that makes a tiny circular incision around the hair follicles to isolate the graft. rnThe graft is then extracted directly from the scalp using forceps. By using a high-powered stereo microscope, and specially trained technicians they will isolate, prepare and ensure that the follicular grafts remain in good condition for implantation. rnThese Follicular units are arranged into groups depending on the number of hairs contained in each hair follicle (1-4) hairs are commonly found within each follicle. The above-mentioned techniques are for the extraction process.rnImplantation is the last step in the process of hair transplantation here implantation is done in two ways either stick and forceps method or DHI implanter pen.rnIn stick and forceps method needle is used to create recipient site (by making tiny holes) and forceps are used for placing the hair follicles.rnThe implantation process can be performed with the help of the implanter pen. The extracted hair follicles are inserted into the implanter pen, then the physicians will make the incision on the bald area with the help of an implanter pen and they will insert those hair follicles into the bald area.rnOther hair transplants are also available such as eyebrow hair transplant, beard hair transplant, mustache hair transplant, and body hair transplant.
