What’s So Great About HD LCD TV?

Many have heard and seen an LCD TV but still not many are aware why people absolutely go gaga over the technology. The technology has gone through numerous evolutions and many consumers are now more confident that the future innovations would only improve it and would make it a long lasting piece of equipment. For one thing, many shows are now presented in HD or high-definition and many cable viewers are getting frustrated when their cable providers cannot give them what they want to see. Because most, if not all, of the hottest TV shows are now presented in HD, more and more viewers want the full experience. Take for example Glee!, who really wants to watch this on an ordinary TV, there is a loss of quality when viewed in tubes or standard TV and the sound would be low quality. But if the TV can make viewing HD possible then the experience is totally different. The biggest if not most important advantage of the LCD HD TV is that these are coming from technology which can be trusted. The past issues of ghost images and difficulty of viewing from different angles have all been corrected. Today, from any angle the screen offers clear and crisp images. The brightness of the LCD HD TV is also higher so the images are clearer and crisper as well and this is what people want when they want to watch their favorite shows and movies in the darkness of their bedrooms or living rooms. Today, when people talk movie night, the LCD screen can offer the movie quality with ease. Last but not least, LCD TVs are lighter in weight compared to the plasma ones. These could be hung up on brackets installed on the wall just like one would a picture frame or a painting. The walls could carry the light weight with no problem and this makes the movie experience more cinema-like than compared to the TV sitting on the counter or TV rack. Somehow watching from a rack is different from watching a flat screen flushed on the wall. rnThe only downside is the cost. LCD's are more expensive than the plasma but since the innovation of LED TVs, there are more and more of the LCD's on sale for a fraction of the price. In fact, many of these are sold with free DVD players or home theater equipment.
