Almost all industries are utilizing the World Wide Web as a tool for publicity and product promotion. The Internet is now one of the most dominant forms of media, featuring virtually endless possibilities. Through the Net, one can freely post content about anything, download and view contents other people uploaded, or even make business transactions. These are only few of what the Internet can provide its users. One specific process that businesses rely on is called SEO or search engine optimization. In Canada, most cities have companies that resort to this type of advertising, and two of them are Guelph and Kitchener. SEO or search engine optimization refers to the ranking or hierarchy of websites in search engines. This structure is a big deal in the virtual world. With this tool, corporations of all sorts gain prominence and gain a wider market than ever before. The process of SEO starts when you search the Internet for a particular keyword. This keyword would often be used by bots or search engine spiders to track down websites, which are likely to have the content you are seeking. Spiders or bots are programs that “creep” throughout the World Wide Web in search of websites that match the user’s keyword. How bots search the World Wide Web involves a formula which is still a mystery even to SEO experts, although they do have a brief idea about how they work. By observing how these spiders’ behave, computer professionals, especially Canada SEO services, were able to generate some of the criteria filtered by these bots. Another strategy which helps companies attract more clients is through web designing. A Kitchener web design specialist is capable of posting different contents on a webpage using HTML codes. HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language, which is basically the computers alphabet. It is used to post contents such as images, videos, audio, and text in a webpage. A Webpage, on the other hand, is what browsers see as they surf a website.
