As Michael yet spoke, I was plainly SPEECHLESS.

Now here’s Michael already holding hands with a beautiful and attractive girl who already showed interest in him, walking alone on a beach and he starts talking about unnecessary pets.

Holding hands? Rarely will such happen on a first date. The beautiful girl was practically giving him a “Kiss Me” signal and Michael thinks that he still needs to work on creating attraction. Also, instead of going ahead to doing something that may well boost the sexual chemistry, he pulls out the “nice guy” jerk and loose his great opportunity.
