What to Do If You Think Your Husband Is Having an Affair

If you thing your husband is cheating on you then, I know what you’re going through. It can be difficult when you suspect your partner is cheating--or even if you know they’re cheating, but you just don’t have the proof. You walk around all day with a queasy feeling in your stomach and you can’t get the thought of him with another woman out of your mind. What should you do? Well, the first thing is to do is find the proof you need that he either is having an affair or not. Before you do this, you have to make sure that you are emotionally ready to discover that he is. So brace yourself. Expect the worst and hope for the best. Then, in order to find the proof you need, you’re going to have to be a little bit sneaky. A cheating husband will usually do a good job at covering his tracks, so you need to keep yourself one step ahead of him. The best way to do this is to set a trap for him. Start by making some kind of excuse to leave town such as work or visiting family. You don’t really need to leave town, you just want him to think that you are. After all, when the cat’s away, the mice will play. All you really need to do is rent a room at a hotel nearby for a day or two. Then before you leave for your “trip” you need to set the trap. First hide a voice-activated audio recorder in the house. This will pick up any phone conversations that he might have with the other woman, or it may even pick up any sort of interaction that the two of them have together if your husband actually brings her back to your place. That’s just the first part though. Next, you want to hide another voice recorder in his car. There is a chance that he might not talk to her in your house or take her back there with him. However, the second most common place to talk to the other woman is in his car. This is especially true if he wants to take her on a “date” somewhere in town. After you’ve set your trap, leave and go on your “trip.” When you return, go and retrieve the recording devices and find some time to listen to them. These should give you the answers you’re looking for. If you do discover that he is having an affair, I’m truly sorry to hear that. From here though, you have to decide if your marriage is worth saving and working through this difficult patch or if this is something that you just cannot forgive. Only you know the answer to this.
