“What We Can Do When We Start Losing Hope”
There is a feeling in the air telling us that something is wrong. A feeling we all need to address because the whole world depends upon the vibrational connection of everyone in the collective conscious. There seems to be a feeling of losing hope, which leads to being uninspired, which leads to apathy. And it’s important that we do something about this feeling and not allow that trend to grow. Here are a few simple things at people can do to enliven their soul and feel great again.
Call a Friend or Relative and Talk for an Hour - Friends and family are always there to cheer us up and to make sure our day is just a little bit brighter. Most people sit by the phone waiting for someone to call. But it’s important to be proactive person and call a friend because they enjoy the connection as much as we do. It’s not that they don’t want to talk, it’s just that they get busy taking kids to school, going to work, taking care of their mother, and so much more that they let friendships fall to the wayside. So call someone, and make it a point to call at least 2 or 3 people a week and reconnect and rekindle friendships and thus feel good.
Get Out of the House for at Least a Couple Hours - Getting out of the house makes us feel uplifted. Even my 81 year old mother says that when she gets out of the house to have her hair done she feels better. And just about everyone feels better when they get out of the house, and do something other than just sitting around. Just going to the drugstore, go to the library, or going to the senior center to play cards, or sign up to be a greeter at a local hospital. Break free and go out and do something fun. And going out does not mean a person has to spend money, not at all, there are lots of places to go that don’t cost a dime, like parks, recreation areas, and just window shopping… it’s all fun.
Go for a Long Walk Daily - Walking is one of those things that makes us feel better in general. If we go for a walk either in the morning, at noon, or in the afte
oon we have a brighter disposition and feel better. Lots of counselors recommend going for long walks to get rid of the old emotional cobwebs that cling to us on a daily basis. And it really works! Going for a long walk is not only good for the body, but it’s also good for creating a brighter disposition and a great mood. Personally I walk 5 miles a day, and I always feel better after walking.
Get Excited About a New Hobby - There is nothing like doing something that we love to make life seem incredible. When we have a hobby, something we love doing it always brightens our day. We feel connected, uplifted, and always happy because we are doing what makes us feel great. It can be painting, working at a food bank, photography, helping some young couple who need a baby sitter a couple times a week… or thousands of other things. And when we help others we feel good inside and thus we feel better about our own life. Also a person might joint a on-line chat group of uplifting people. People who are interested in your particular hobby and have the same enthusiasm. It’s always great to connect with lots of people who share the same interests.
Go See an Uplifting or Funny Movie - There are some really wonderful and uplifting movies around, but we have to make sure to pick and choose wisely and then go enjoy a great movie. And again… this gets us out of the house so we feel good about life in general. And there is nothing better than walking out of movie theater with a smile on our face. Plus comedies are aways great, anything that makes us laugh makes life enjoyable. So get out and go see a side splitting movie that heals the mind, body, and spirit.
Stop Taking Life So Seriously - There will always be ups and downs, and it’s important to be able to laugh at all the little things we have going on. If we take life too seriously we will always be sad and anxious. If we start laughing at life in general, and see the whimsical side of everything, then nothing can bring us down. It’s better to laugh about everything than to brood over it and eventually become sick. Those that laugh about life tend to have a brighter outlook in general, and they tend to get sick less often than other people. So laugh, laugh, and laugh some more… and life will be great!
So call a friend, get out of the house, go for a walk, get excited about a new hobby, have fun at the movies, and laugh about life… and all will be well.
Many Blessings to Everyoner

If the world is an illusion meant to be transcended, why does it exist at all?
