This latest technique can cause various complications like blood clotting, peripheral nerve damage, and a build up of infected fluid. Peripheral nerve damage can occur in arms, legs, neck, or face. If you want to go under liposuction then it is very important to select the right technique. It is a good idea to discuss your fears and expectations with your surgeon before the surgery.

The surgeon whom you have selected should be skilled and qualified. Most of the risks can be avoided if the patient follows the instructions of the surgeon before and after the operation. You should have an active lifestyle if you want to have good results from the surgery.

If a person is a smoker and suffering from serious diseases then he is not an ideal candidate for the surgery. Many patients complain of swelling, bruises and skin burns after the surgery. Swelling and bruises disappear if proper care is taken in the post operative period. Your surgeon should not remove more than five litres of fat in one session as this can lead to shock.
