All through the month of June I've been travelling and working in Europe. The first thing I observed was that a lot of people are stressed out-- not knowing how to detach from the things that bother them, negative emotions, or bad situations. I'm surprised to see they can't even imagine being happy and just enjoying life. In our discussions it was like I was talking about something impossible or worse, illegal.

They look at you and ask with innocence: "How can I be happy? Teach me, please! You teach me and I'll do it!" They are so eager to feel better and have a different life but they have no clue what to do. They are scared to even look inside their souls. Their mind is constantly dominating their intuition. It's like they are giving up on life little by little, day by day...

The scariest part for their mind seems to be discovering or rediscovering themselves. That's the part where they become stubborn and don't want to cooperate. They impose a lot of limitations but keep saying: "You show me how to be happy and I'll do it!"
It's funny and also sad in the same time to see them behaving like spoiled children, with no direction, holding onto fears and a lot of frustrations.
You start by being really gentle with them, listening and giving them the opportunity to open up and finally talk about their struggles. You see them crying and laughing, blushing or arguing but in the end they are able to see THEY can do it. They can be happy!
Just, don't forget about yourself again! Remember yourself every minute, every second and you'll rediscover yourself and all the happiness in the world!
