When is it time to go?

We have all experienced a time when we were ready to leave something... ready to make a change or just ready for something different. This could be a relationship, a job or a move; or it can even be a way of thinking. Do you recall that feeling way down in your stomach that just tells you - "hey, you, it's time!”

What do you do when that feeling occurs? Do you chase it away in an effort to keep what's comfortable, what's familiar in your life? Do you discount it and push it down further in your stomach? When you do that, push it way down, does it go away or does it begin to make you sick? We have all experienced this; but what do you do... what should you do?

Do you ever wonder if that feeling knows more than you? Do you ever wonder why that feeling occurs when you feel the least capable of dealing with it – of change? Do you try to cope with it and keep on truck'n? Is this the right thing for us to do?

Did you know that your intuition talks to you every day? Your intuition is that inner voice that knows everything that you need to know and can keep you well informed if you choose to listen; If you are able to reduce the white noise and truly tune in. The universe is also trying to talk to you, trying to tell you that what you truly want – even if you have yet to acknowledge it -is available to you if you only take the responsibility to acknowledge and choose it.

Responsibility... that's a big word. Get comfortable with it and with the power if gives you. Begin to listen to that voice and honor it with your actions – with your life. Do what no-one expects you to do and get uncomfortable with your life. It's only during these times of personal unrest, that we truly learn who we are. Who are you?

I am going through this very thing as we speak. These words, although my own, are hard to hear. It's hard to know that you have to leave something that was once so perfect for you. Yes, it's hard. But the reward is growth and an opportunity for a brand new experience and a more on purpose, and fulfilling existence. Do I want that even though it will challenge me? No, I want that because it will challenge me.

Don't fear change or the unknown in your life. It's what you don't yet know or have not yet experienced that will be the most rewarding to you. Let that be your mind-set; your belief, your guiding principal. Let the responsibility for yourself be your most coveted and tended- to focus. If you do this, you will invite into your life all that you dream of and so much more.

For the spiritual seeker the unknown is where the arrow of focus is pointed. The seeker strives to know and understand the real purpose of life and of living. The seeker, in order to truly uncover and know, must shed away the need to control and let go of whatever position they covet: whether it be pride of intellect or of ownership or of image. In order to truly “know” we all must clear the proverbial slate and live consciously and without agenda or exte
al need. The unknown in our lives holds the key to our best futures.

Without the unknown and the willingness to explore it, most times without a compass; we will never live our best most conscious, most fulfilling lives. Faith in our futures as conscious travelers allows us to release stress of control and finally know who we are and why we were put here and what we were meant to do (be).
