Where does fat go when you lose it?

The correct answer is that fat is converted to carbon dioxide and/or water.
But contrary to what most people think, most of the fat leaving the body exits through exhalation.
Most of it is breathed out as carbon dioxide, making the lungs the primary excretory organ for weight loss.

So you lose fat when you exhale carbon dioxide. AND you lose fat by way of water, when it mixes into your circulation and is lost as urine or sweat.

Check this out.....If you lose 10kg of fat, (22lbs), precisely 8.4kg (18.5lbs) comes out through your lungs.... and the remaining 1.6kg (3.5lbs) turns into water.

If you have ever trained or taken a class with me, you know how important, breath and deep breathing techniques are, on so many levels. Not only to cleanse and strengthen the lungs, clear the mind and release stress, but also to release toxins and fat.

Deep Breathing 101.....It's impossible to take a deep breath with tight stomach muscles, so first relax your abs and diaphram. Now, fill your lungs from the bottom to the top, more, more, more..... now take double that time to really push out your exhale.
Make deep breathing a habit. I mean, you're breathing already anyway.

For many, this is why exercise has always been more than fitness; it’s therapy through motion. But not all movement heals. Some styles exhaust, others distract. True healing often begins in the slow, intentional kind, the kind that lets the body lead and the mind follow.rnThat’s where precision-based training, such as re
