People turn to emails in order to generate contacts from people but the outcome is not so rosy at majority of instances. This is one human psychology that we feel better off without a reply than hearing to the word, ‘no’ to anything.
Fearing Blocking- There may be a fear that your approach might get blocked by voicemail and gatekeepers. Getting through those makes it difficult for almost all to think further on trying and this is why it seems better to send an electronic mail rather than calling.
