The power of the Soul. It is the most powerful!rnThe brain is a mere organ of the body. It is like a machine, which once the body dies, stops operating. The function of the brain ends there; and the body is discarded. rnIt is due to the presence of the Soul that one knows all that is happening in the brain, in the mind, in every part of the body. The brain works continuously, based on our past karmic account. Whatever thoughts we have formed in our past life, these thoughts are in the brain. And in our current life, they unfold. For example, say at three minutes past three, the account of karma comes into the brain. And from the brain, this account of karma gets discharged through the mind. So, you have a thought. When the thought occurs, one unites with that thought and gets entangled. If the thought is pleasant, one becomes happy, and if the thought is unpleasant, he feels suffocated and uneasy, thus losing inner peace and stability. rnThe One that ‘Knows’ every thought is the all-powerful Soul. rnFor instance - how does one know that “My left leg is aching and the right one is not”? One may argue that it is the nerve or that it is a function performed by the brain which helps us know that this leg is aching, and the other is not. But, the brain exists in a dead body too; however, a dead body is not able to know anything. This means there is something else due to which we know and understand things. Who knows? It is the Soul that knows which leg is hurting and the depth of the pain. The Soul never feels the pain, it is the body that experiences the pain; but the Soul knows the pain, the body cannot know the pain. When Soul is present in the body, a person is able to know and understand things, and when it leaves the body, the same person is not able to know or understand anything, despite the brain and mind being present within the body. When Soul is present in the body, a person is said to be living; and when it leaves the body, the same body is called a dead body. The Eternal SoulrnThe Soul is an eternal element made up of knowledge and bliss. The function of the Soul is to see and know everything, the result of which is eternal bliss!rnSoul means our true Self. By not knowing, really ‘who am I’, out of ignorance, one wrongly believes, ‘I am the body. The brain and mind are mine. I am the doer.’ Due to this ignorance, there is death and rebirth, life after life, since countless lifetimes. To discover and attain the knowledge of our true Self leads to bliss.rnThe Soul is life energy. It is an element that spans through the past, present, and future. The Soul is immortal, immiscible, and invisible; it is still, and it never hurts nor is hurt by anyone - such are the various qualities of the Soul. These are innate natural qualities; qualities that will never change. And this is who we are! rnYou have, in numerous past lives, experienced the brain. What you need to discover now is the Soul, and experience the power of the Soul. This becomes possible through Self-realisation, when graced by the Enlightened One..
