The resort is great for downhill skiing and snowboarding but also offers outstanding venues for cross-country skiiing, snowshoeing, back country skiing and snowmobiling as well as heli-skiiing and cat-skiing.
In Spring and Summer the resort brings an array of other activities including Hiking and Walking to the waterfalls, lakes and and rugged back country. The mountains, parks and lakes are perfect for Canoeing, Kayaking, River Rafting, Swimming, Windsurfing, Fishing and daytrips and ove

From May to October Whistler becomes a golfing mecca with championship courses with challenging greens and panoramic views.
Tours - Zip Lining – Whistler became the pioneer destination for zip line tours in North America, offering an award winning ecological curriculum combining education and adventure with the highest, longest, and most zip lines around.
There are a variety of tours including a 2000-foot, awe-inspiring monster that drops 20 storeys! The zip lines are joined by a network of suspension bridges, suspended stairways, boardwalks and forest trails. Guided interpretive adventures will trek you through the tree-tops of a rainforest of magnificent trees. Combine the world-record breaking Peak 2 Peak Gondola, with an exhilarating Zip Line Tour through the ancient rainforest above Fitzsimmons creek.
Experience the thrill of of a Zip Line Winter Twilight tour - plunge into the mysterious darkness of Whistler's old growth rainforest.
The Whistler/Blackcomb Gondola: The world record-breaking PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola is a breathtaking alpine experience spanning 4.4-kilometres betwee
Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.
The record-setting statistics are impressive but nothing compares to the journey between the two Mountains providing a 360-degree window into Whistler Blackcomb's alpine environment, The glass bottomed Gondolas (two on each run) offer a spectacular view as you travel across the span. Of course the other Gondolas are solid bottomed for those with a fear of heights.
Whistler village itself is pedestrian friendly with an abundance of restaurants, spas and a variety of shopping. There is a premier climbing and fitness facility located in the heart of the village next to the Conference Centre. There are a wide range of Hotel accommodations suited to every budget from 5 star to time share rentals.
Events: The numerous annual events include the Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival with competitions and a showcase of Music and Arts, and in November the resort hosts Cornucopia, 4 days celebrating food and wine.
The Adventure Zone: Located at the base of Blackcomb the Adventure Zone offers families plenty of room for play.
I myself have been to Whistler many times, I'm not a skier myself but my grandkids are into skiing and snowboarding big time and love it there. I have to say I did try out some activities I never thought I would, I snowshoed down the mountain, and tried my hand at snowmobiling, I loved it. I have traveled the Peak to Peak Gondolas both in winter and summer and it is spectacular. If you are ever down this part of the world make sure you get to Whistler Blackcomb you will love it.
