“Who is Creating Your Happiness?”

I’ve found that right now we have lots of people who expect that what they do every day will make them happy. And they have some great things happen to them… yet they are not happy. Why?

Take for instance a young mother who enjoys her life and enjoys taking care of her little boy and girl. Yet at the end of the day, she feels used up and feels there should be more to life. Does any of this sound familiar?

Where Does Happiness Come From?

Studies show that about 10% of our happiness comes from our circumstances. And the other 90% comes from the way we think, act, and perceive the world. And those are 3 big words that most people take for granted. Our thinking, what we do every single day… and how we look at what we have going on around us.

Taking Control of Your Mind

Most people just think and don’t really feel they have any control over their mins what-so-ever. But that is not true, we have the ability to change our thinking at any time. But that’s a big “If” the challenge is… do we want to change our thinking?

How do we change our thinking and become happy? It’s done by, just looking at every single thought we have and noticing if this thought is a progressive thought that will make us happy or not. And if not, then changing that thought, by changing our thinking, and by replacing that thought with something more upbeat. It’s that simple! Yet, this takes time and effort… but the rewards are great.

Taking Control Over Your Actions

The next step is to take control over our actions. This is an automatic secondary process because once we change our thinking our actions will automatically change to match our thinking process. Take for instance if we used to say to ourselves “Today is going to be a terrible day” and thus we change that to “Today is going to be a great day”. And instead of dragging all day long… we look forward to getting up and getting going and thus our actions have changed because we have changed our thinking.
Taking Control of The Way You Perceive the World

Taking control of the way we see at the world and noticing what the world has going on is probably the most important part. When we see something negative taking place, we don’t ignore it at all. But we think to ourselves that eventually, something good will come from all of this. That over the long run good things are going to take place.

This is much better than seeing something negative and then spiraling down into a place of negativity. But this is what a lot of people do and this does not help the world or any situation. The then when we look back on the day we feel good about our life.

If we stay positive, If we all see the good, if we move forward with positive actions then everything will change on this planet and happiness will be the norm.

It’s Up to All of Us

It’s up to each and every one of us to do this in our own lives… and then we will see a positive change in the world. Remember as Gandhi said, “Be the Change You Want to See in the World”.

And this is what all the great Spiritual Teachers, Jesus, Yogis, Buddhas, and Many others have come to tell us… over and over again.

We can do this!

Many Blessings to Everyone
