Chronic prostatitis is a disease that troubles many men, characterized by diverse and complex symptoms that sometimes can mislead patients into thinking they have contracted a different illness. The causes of this condition are multifaceted, including prolonged sitting, urinary retention, infections, and more. Understanding its causes and infection pathways is crucial for reducing the likelihood of recurrence and achieving a complete cure. After diagnosis, it is imperative to take timely preventive measures and treatment, such as taking Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill to reduce recurrence and aid in complete recovery. So, who is more susceptible to the harm of chronic prostatitis? Firstly, the driver community is at high risk. Their job requires sitting for extended periods, sometimes even needing to hold their urine, which can easily lead to prostate issues. This is particularly true for taxi drivers and professional racers who spend long hours in the driver's seat, necessitating special attention to prostate health. Additionally, private car owners should also be cautious. Although owning a car makes life more convenient and social activities more frequent, unhealthy lifestyle habits such as excessive drinking, smoking, and overeating can weaken the body's resistance and increase the risk of prostate infection. Moreover, in daily life, the probability of middle-aged and older adults who have prostatitis is much higher than that of young men. As they age, many middle-aged and older men will increasingly find that they lack strength during urination, leading to incomplete urination. I went to check my body and found that it was prostatitis. In fact, this situation is related to many factors, such as aging, hormonal imbalances in the body, inability of the testes to secrete hormones normally, leading to hormonal abnormalities. Subsequently, it can cause the prostate to become enlarged and compress your urethra, resulting in poor urination. Beyond the high-risk groups mentioned, several factors can elevate the risk of chronic prostatitis. For instance, insufficient kidney qi, stagnation of qi and blood stasis, excessive alcohol consumption, or eating spicy foods can harm the spleen and stomach, leading to metabolic dysfunction, retention of dampness, transformation into heat, internal generation of damp-heat, affecting the lower part of the body, heating the seminal vesicles and causing this disease. Furthermore, excessive sexual activity or masturbation can lead to the depletion of kidney yin, an excess of yang leading to hyperactivity of the fire element, unfulfilled sexual desire, retained semen, or interrupted sexual intercourse causing kidney fire to stagnate and affect the seminal vesicles, leading to this condition. In treating chronic prostatitis, it is necessary to adopt treatment methods specific to the cause. Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs are commonly used. Additionally, doctors may offer specific suggestions based on the patient's symptoms and lifestyle habits. For example, drivers who must sit for long periods due to work should try to stand and walk around every hour to relieve prostate pressure. Private car owners need to avoid excessive drinking and spicy foods, maintaining good lifestyle habits to enhance bodily resistance. Besides the general treatment advice mentioned, special treatment methods such as traditional Chinese medicine can regulate and treat the specific causes of the patient. Acupuncture and massage can also help alleviate symptoms and reduce patient discomfort.
