Getting married is a wonderful time in a couple's life and it is a gratifying experience for me to be part of the celebration of their joining together. With so many things to think about and plan, many people really do not contemplate in depth about the actual ceremony itself. I suppose if you are religious you would get married in a church, but if you are religious, or spiritual and decide not to get married in a church, there are so many other options and locations for your big day!

My name is Jennie Almodovar. I am an Ordained Metaphysical Minister and I specialize in spiritual, non denominational weddings. I LOVE LOVE LOVE officiating weddings on Long Island, Queens, and New York City!

I can cater to small weddings as well as large weddings. I look forward to all input, traditions, special prayers, or readings that you request and “no” from my lips is not an option when you are my client. My passion and energy is shown not only through my writing of your vows and ceremony from beginning to end, but it is also shown through my performance when I am officiating your wedding ceremony. I am young and young at heart. I take my client's special day and bring love to it and a positive energy that will fill the atmosphere where ever your venue takes place. I am adaptable and am thrilled when I can do outdoor, beach, park, golf course, ceremonies as well as weddings at any catering hall of your choice.

What You Can Expect From My Services Prior To And On The Day Of Your Wedding...

1. On our initial one hour consultation I will meet with the couple get to know them, learn how they met, etc. and speak with them about what their vision is regarding the ceremony, answer any questions and talk about pricing.

2. Upon securing a date with me, I will then gather additional information I will need in order personalize the ceremony for the couple.

3. I offer pre-marital counseling. I like to do this with my couples before their wedding day to give them clarification of what marriage is and what it means, speak about their beliefs, speak about any anxieties they may have, not only concerning the years to follow, but also concerning the actual ceremony. In spite of the fact that both may have seen or participated in several weddings, it is quite different when it is your own.

4. About a month before the wedding I will send a rough draft of the ceremony I have written specifically for the couple to review and go over any additions or revisions at that time.

5. Rehearsal – If the couple decides on a rehearsal, I would be happy to meet at your desired location to introduce myself to the wedding party and family members and go over all of the necessary organization for the ceremony to ensure a smooth, effortless, harmonious wedding day!

6. The Wedding Day! - I will arrive 45 minutes to one hour in advance to greet the guests or to help out if anything last minute needs to be done before walking down the aisle.
