Andheri is definitely one of the most populated and busiest suburbs in and around Mumbai. But at the same time it maintains a distinctive class and style about it which separates it from other suburbs. Andheri today is become a residential hub as more and more posh and stylish flats are available for rent and purchase at flamboyant prices. The Andheri East area however is more on the business and private sector side as there are several small and bi industries located in the vicinity. People often believe that buying flats in Andheri is a waste of money or is probably way too expensive but the fact that it is built by renowned builders and architects easily makes it one of the places to reside in especially with the high standard of living that it offers.
Flats in Andheri have seen a steep rise in price mainly because of the advent of several entertainment hubs and luxuries over the past 5 years. Also the emergence of branded outlets makes it easier for residents to shop unlike travel in every nook and corner of the city to buy products. Andheri has also been regarded as a prime hub for shopping and fashion courtesy Lokhandwala. Moreover, the smooth transportation, frequency of trains, more and more buses, well maintained roads make Andheri an even more enjoyable place to reside in. Also, Andheri is known to conjoin several other suburbs in the vicinity thus allowing people to travel with ease. Flats in Andheri cost more than any of the Central and north suburban areas and are on par with the Property in Mumbai. Also middle class people looking to buy a normal 1 BHK flat would indeed face difficulties as most of the flats in residential areas in Andheri start at 2BHK.Mumbai itself is an expensive when it comes to buying a home but the quality of living offered in ofcourse better than any other city.
Flats in Andheri have always been on the risei n terms of pricing yet people still prefer to choose Andheri as their residence over other suburbs considering the variety of services and infrastructure it offers. . To top it all, Andheri also houses the International Airport in Mumbai in the East thus providing an easy access to frequent travelers and businessmen who reside in Andheri. With such good facilities and luxuries it is difficult to say No on residing in a price suburb like Andheri.
Besides the famous landmarks, the advent of the Mumbai Metro too has given a steep rise to the property rates in and around Andheri when it comes to connecting to other suburbs in the Mumbai region and has thus vowed to reduce the travel time to great extent. Even though the project is still under construction and it would take quite a few years for the Mumbai Metro project to be fully active and complete, the rates of flats in Andheri have already skyrocketed as more and more people are opting to invest in flats until the Metro finally starts.
