When you file your divorce papers, it contains all the required information about you and your spouse's financial standing. The financial condition of both the parties will decide who will get what temporary orders. Some of the things that are covered in property related issues are who will get to live in martial house, which of the spouse is going to pay the mortgage or how much money is taken from both the spouse's income to pay the mortgage, which of the spouse will be responsible for paying utility bills. Temporary Spousal Support: Many a times what happens is the once the divorce papers are filed, the more financially sound spouse stops supporting the other spouse. In order to handle this situation, temporary spousal support is granted by court. In this the spouse with more income is ordered to pay a fixed amount of money to the other spouse on a monthly basis.
