I know I made a blog on this but I'm curious to see if everyone else has had the same problem as I have had...
Why do people go out/like the guys that are total jerks, but wont settle for a nice guy?
Why are they appealed to the jerk and not the guy with the caring heart?
I mea
I was thrown to the curb because of a self-absorbed jerk-face.
Granted they broke up months down the road, but I really wanted a chance with that guy.
Why is it that everyone goes for others and not me?
I know I don't cheat, I try to give the person I am with the stars [Figuratively speaking]
Anyone else run into this problem, what is the "appeal" of a bad-boy that treats people like their dirt?
Personally, I've never seen this in real life. I see the opposite, people going for the nice guy.
The only time I've seen an appeal for a jerk is in the movies...
I've seen people be in love with the jerk a few times... but I see more people go for the nice guy/girl
Well humans are just animals, so its natural that women would want the strongest,aggressive male as possible.
It doesn't always work that way and it really depends but alot of girls do go for the asshole types even ones who want nice guys.
personally i find nice guys boring, not saying i want really assholeish but i don't want a guy who is to nice. i want him to be able to light a fire in me, and not annoy me to much in the processr
The question has been asked for a long time, Darke. I think much of it has to do with confidence, in my experience. If half of attractiveness is confidence, then the jerks you referred to are much more appealing to people that are searching. I find it true, unfortunately, that nice guys do finish last, and a lot of that has to do with the same thing - confidence. Nicer guys may feel less than adequate, and that rubs off on people, while the jerk is typically cocky.
