Many people are sick today and no one seems to understand why this is so. We live in the best of times and the worst of times. We used to think of pollution as smog, such as not being able to see the blue sky in Los Angeles. Today, In 2011, we have many forms of pollution. We live in a contaminated world. Not only do we have all of the ills of the industrial age, with its carbon emmissions, but we have new particles that can make us sick. We live in an age of electromagnetic pollution, weapons/grade biotoxins, chemical toxins, noise pollution, nuclear radiation. All of these existing forms of pollution make it necessary for us to have strong immune systems. It is impossible to live in a bubble. Each day, we are exposed to these disease causing agents. They enter our bodies through the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink, and through cuts and scrapes we acquire, while at work and at play. These irritants are the causes of the over 100 types of cancer that is so prevalent in our society. People of all ages have fallen victim to these diseases. Pain, now is even considered its our disease. We need to learn about the causes of these diseases, so we can confront the causes specifically. We are so caught up in keeping up with the cost of living, that many of us do not have time to make our society a better place. Look to those who know how to improve your health. Study, on your own to make yourself better. Search websites such as this one in order to become a healthier person.
