Taking quick and immediate step is crucial to save patients when caught under such conditions. Hence, knowledge about CPR or cardiopulmonary resuscitation is absolutely necessary to perform the role as a life saver.

The CPR training is mandatory if you are working in an emergency unit, with children and adults. It is a certification course that requires hardly a few hours and gets over within a week. The knowledge you will gain through the training could prove vital in case emergency arises. Learning the life-saving skill is possible by enrolling in nursing schools or in a program offered through the local Red Cross. By taking the CPR training, you will not only add employable skill under your belt, but also save many lives. There is no particular time or place the victim may need your skill. Heart attack can occur anywhere even when the person is sitting in a restaurant and sipping a cup of coffee, or watching a movie, traveling on a train, bus, etc. The most fatal incidences are accidents, which are sudden. Your presence in any of these locations or conditions would save many lives if you are CPR certified.
