Do you know how you get a LinkedIn, Plaxo or another professional social networking account, put up your postage stamp sized photo and force everyone to read your resume to learn about you? After all of that, they still don’t know who you are. And, you are not able to promote your service, you business or yourself. You can’t even sell things!

Professional social networking has been made much easier with social media sites. Networkings on the social sites have the ability to tap into hundreds of relevant connections with just the click of a button. These social sites come with many opportunities such as the chance to connect with people in your industry, make an impression them with your professionalism, and gather information that can honestly help you.

But you should learn through social sites. Because each social site has different aspects like; LinkedIn is generally known as a business site, and Twitter is more are a combination of personal and professional contents. The traditional users of Facebook usually use it for friends and family so it may be odd for them if you make use of it for professional purpose.

Social media sites are great for making introductions and warming up relationships, but eventually you should take your networking conversations beyond the confines of Twitter and LinkedIn. Non – verbal communication like; body language, eye contact, and tone of voice are all essential in helping to establish rapport and make your relationship more strong. If is not possible then simply make Skype call. This not only helps you to communicate easily but also allow you to see the other person’s attention to your listening. When this isn’t possible, one solution is to request a Skype call.

When you meet someone through social media choose a preferable contact method that is more suitable to both of you. Also respect other preferences. Social networking sites can be excellent for business networking, they rapidly putting together groups on the site relating to industries or events. They’re a good, quick way of circulating information to a number of people and putting them together in one virtual place without having to create your own site or contribute to forums.
There are also specialist business social networking sites that are very useful not only for networking, but also when job hunting. They’re effective for posting your CV and keeping you in contact with those in your field and outside it. Used wisely, social networking sites can offer a lot to work, by making employees feel appreciated and privileged, and also to help the ongoing necessity of networking for businessmen.

When we started our Search Engine Optimization experience, we were frustrated to find that we could only get so far on each one of the social media sites. There were great available but they were spread out over several different sites and none of them helped to guide us through the process of maximizing our results from SEO. After learning all of this the hard way we decided that we needed to create a simpler way to accomplish this task.

Since nobody but a few select minds at Google™ knows the algorithm for search engine optimization, we’ve been trying to find a combination of social media marketing strategies that work for our SEO. We’re making new discoveries along the way all the time. We’ve attended seminars and read books, blogs and articles about all of the different ideas out there. The common consensus is that link building, brand building and sustaining customer loyalty are the most successful strategies for success.

As we make learn what works best for our search engine optimization we will share that with anyone willing to listen through our professional social networking tools.
