The happiness of the Soul is considered the greatest happiness of all because: rnIt is never followed by unhappinessrnThe bliss of the Soul is not reliant on anything or anyone external. The Soul, by its inherent nature, is a source of abundant bliss. This bliss continues to flow naturally within us upon the attainment of the Self. The main reasons behind our suffering are anger, pride, greed and deceit. Each of these is the ‘cause’ because of which we experience unhappiness. The Soul, on the other hand, is free from these emotions. Thus the state of inner bliss prevails in every situation in every living beingrnParam Pujya Dada Bhagwan, the founder of Akram Vignan, a spiritual science says, “The true meaning of Atma is the Self, one’s Real form. Eternal happiness i.e. bliss is within you. Your real Self, i.e., the Soul is an abode of infinite bliss and yet you are looking for happiness in temporary things!” The Soul is present in every living being. It is the same in nature, i.e. every Soul has the same properties. The main properties are infinite Knowledge, infinite Vision, infinite Strength and infinite Bliss.rnSo, while material pleasures such as fame, money and possessions, by their inherent nature, are temporary and insatiable; the Soul is eternal and so are its properties. For instance, money does bring comfort and happiness into one’s life, but it can never give ever-lasting happiness or bliss like the Soul does. The same is the case with our relationships. One minute we are happy in the relationship, and then something happens, and we are hurt or suffer pain because of the same relationship. It is for this reason that the essence of all scriptures, the spiritual disciplines and the spiritual practices is: Get your Soul awakened and start to experience the bliss of the Soul. Does this seem far-fetched? Well, it isn’t so. People are able to experience the bliss of the Soul, regardless of what is going on in their daily life. In today’s era where suffering and pain are widespread everywhere, thousands have attained Self-realisation through the Akram Vignan, and consequently they dwell in the inner bliss of the Self. rnParam Pujya Dada Bhagwan reveals that the realisation of the Self (attaining Soul) in itself is samadhi (a state of inner bliss). Samadhi will not leave while eating, drinking, sitting, standing, etc. It is a natural and spontaneous (sahaj) samadhi, it is Vitraag vignan (the science of the Ones who are free from all attachments, the enlightened ones). The reason why one does not experience the bliss of the Soul is that the Soul has not yet been awakened. Just as a lit candle can light another candle, the Enlightened One can enlighten others. Therefore, a Living Gnani, whose Soul is awakened, is required to awaken our Soul! On the attainment of the knowledge of the Self from Gnani, and by following his words, one is able to live a genuinely spiritual and blissful life. His words are such, which when applied to our day-to-day life, they clear all the entanglements and instil in us the right understanding, thus helping us bring forth meaningful results on the path of spiritual science. This is how the happiness of the Soul is actually the greatest happiness indeed! To know more: https://www.dadabhagwan.org/path-to-happiness/spiritual-science/what-is-a-soul/
