The debate of having or not having a dedicated server for your website still continues. Both dedicated server hosting and shared server hosting has their own share of pros and cons. But comparatively, the first one provides better service. Nowadays, business owners are willing to have their own private server hosting. They prefer controlling the server themselves and that is the reason why majority opts for the dedicated one.

A shared server hosts hundreds of websites together and that also on a single server. As there are numerous sites on one server, it is very obvious that you will come across several issues. On the other hand, when you are having a dedicated or private server, you will come across loads of benefits rather than issues. Having a dedicated hosting server does not mean that you will have only one website. In big companies having multiple divisions, this will be a cost-effective option because the company gets a chance to host several domains on the server.

Companies having a large web presence are the ideal one to opt for this particular type of server. It is very natural that such companies have exceeded their ability on a shared server and might have some technical necessities on their website but are not being able to achieve so. Dedicated servers allow the owner of the server with some crucial benefits and options. Hosting a website on a dedicated server allows the user to customize and this is something that really matters in a business.

But something that prevents a company from having a dedicated server is its market price. This is the only reason why reputed companies opt for this service and startup companies prefers dealing with the shared one. But cost is not everything, service or performance is something that matters the most.

There are loads of benefits that one can enjoy because of a dedicated server. The most important benefit is security on the server. As your site is the only client on the server and you are the only cautious one about the security systems on your site, hence less are the chances of your site to be affected by the virus. But in a shared server, you may be conscientious about protecting your site but someone else on that same site might not be.

The second most important benefit is the level of customization provided by a dedicated server. It is a fact that usage of technology is limited in a shared server compared to that of a dedicated one. A dedicated server provides the user with flexibility and freedom to create your site using whatever technology you want. This actually refers that if you have superior technology then you can surely go into a wide amount of detail work.

The most crucial benefit that one can enjoy because of a dedicated server is permanence. This is something that almost all the business owners want to have. This will help you ensure that you have the utmost period of time for your site.
