There are several options now available for childless couples to have their own child. There is the option of adoption and surrogacy. While adoption seems like an easier and better option there are several reasons why surrogacy is better than adoption. Here are some of the reasons why surrogacy is better than adoption: 1. Surrogacy enables intended parents to choose the surrogate mother and review the background before agreeing to the process. Unlike in adoption, there is no way to find out the background of the parent’s child. 2. There is a genetic link between the surrogate child and the intended parents. Even if the child is carried and nurtured by the surrogate mother, the child will still have a genetic link with the intended parents because they have contributed their own cells during the conception. 3. There are places that same sex couples are not allowed to adopt. There are also strict laws on surrogacy but there are no laws where same sex couples can undergo surrogacy. In Florida there are laws and statutes that protect the welfare of both intended parents and Florida surrogate. The only stipulation to keep in mind is that intended parents would have to be married and living together to be protected by its laws. Surrogacy Cost and Issues in Florida Surrogacy is one of the best options for infertile couples nowadays. Although it is not friendly in terms of cost, still many decide to go for this option. What makes it costly is that the intended parents have to finance all fees and expenses of the surrogate’s pregnancy that would cover related expenses like screening, lost wages, counseling, transportation, insurance, attorney fees and the agency. Also, other main expenses include in Florida surrogates: • Fertility treatments when pregnancy begins. This can include InVitro Fertilization (IVF). • Visits to health care providers. • Food, medicines and clothing for the surrogate. • Delivery cost. • Supplies for the baby before handing over to the intended parents. • Charges of the agency which includes legal fees and paper works. It is necessary to sign a surrogacy contract before the relationship is established between both parties. The contract will define the expenses, procedures and legal rights. Legal concerns are one of the most important things to consider when couples will pursue surrogacy. Florida Surrogacy Options for Infertile Couples Surrogacy can be a good option for couples who are not capable of conceiving a child. This process can put an end to unsuccessful infertility treatment. This is also the closest thing of having a biological child of your own. When there are no other options, having the benefit of letting you participate in your baby’s gestation and birth. What really is surrogacy? Surrogacy is referred to as “assisted reproduction”. It is the process where another woman will take place to carry your child when you are unable to conceive or carry your own child. The surrogate mother here will go through a procedure and be impregnated by InVitro Fertilization (IVF) that will carry the resulting baby for the intended couples. After birth, the surrogate mother will then relinquish all her parental rights to the intended parents. rnFinding a suitable surrogate Florida is never easy. The whole process itself is emotionally-draining but can be a satisfying option for couples who are unable to conceive.
